We are excited to be one of the first practices in the Main Line to offer breakthrough and innovative children's dental treatment with a Solea laser.
Solea, “our healing light”, is a powerful CO2 dental laser that reduces the need for the dental drill and for needles.
Dr. Jackie visited multiple offices that currently utilize this wonderful technology and has consulted multiple colleagues that are already treating patients with Solea to ensure it was the right choice for Groovy.
When she saw its magic and the happiness and confidence it brings to a child’s smile, we knew we had to make it available to Groovy patients.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) states that using lasers in pediatric dental care is especially beneficial in providing dental restoration, and soft tissue procedures for infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special healthcare needs.
Is Solea safe?
Our primary focus is your child’s safety- the Solea laser is FDA approved and does not emit harmful radiation. For added protection, you and your child will wear eye protection throughout the procedure.
